Today was leg day, which is by far my biggest hurdle. My upper-body is always so much leaner than my lower, and every time I look in the mirror at the gym all I see is the jiggle of my thighs which is why it is the one workout day that I never let myself miss. I know that the only way that I will see results is if I get under the squat machine, however, because it is my weakest point, it is really hard for me not to get discouraged. With my biceps, I can see big gains in two weeks, but with my quads it seems to take two months to even see a noticeable change. Today’s workout was a killer, to change things up I decided to lift my husband which means lifting heavy with only 5-7 reps per set. Hopefully changing it up will be enough to push me over this plateau.
